But imagine having guests round who spot the little critters exploring your carpet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carpet beetles aren&#8217;t exclusive to carpets either. they can infect other fabrics like cotton, linen, rayon and even certain foods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So here we&#8217;ve put together a guide to identifying, and getting rid of the carpet beetle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Identification<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a few different types of carpet beetles that might make their way into your fabric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Black carpet beetles<\/li><li>Varied carpet beetles<\/li><li>Common carpet beetles<\/li><li>Furniture carpet beetles<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The most common are black carpet beetles. They feed on fur, hair, wollen materials, and plant products. The varied carpet beetles are smaller that their black conterparts, and the common carpet beetles are round, or yellow bugs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One misconception about the  carpet beetle is that they&#8217;re carpet bound only.
